Duet: cleaning up chapter 41, and itching to post it XD it's just about ready but I can't post every day, or people won't have time to read. I've done most of the final editing up to chapter 47, and the fic is as polished as I'd like at the moment, though I'll probably edit the chapters AGAIN before I post them. I'm so particular about my fics XD

Bitter Season: chapter 2 is in progress. I'm working on James' character, and hopefully it'll stay true to his canon. Maria is so super easy for me to write, so I'm not very worried about her. James is the enigma.

How to Make Love Like a Host: chapter 3 is underway. I'm having some trouble with the dialogue in some scenes, as with Haruhi's motivation. All in all, I'll probably end up having to rewrite it a few times before I get the feel for how I want the chapter to end up.

Everything else: still on hiatus ^^;

So, sorry for never updating this XD I suppose I should more. So, for today:

Duet: I'm doing some more adjustments to chapter 39, and it should probably be up by Monday or Tuesday. It's "the chapter", so I want to make sure it's perfect. I want to do Tamaki and Haruhi's first time justice. Also, about 9 chapters to go until the fic is over!

How to Make Love Like a Host: chapter 3 is in progress. I really love writing PWP, as bad as that sounds XD there will definitely be more Tamaki/Haruhi in chapter 3, and I'm trying to put in some Kyouya/Haruhi but I don't know if I can forsake my favorite pairing by adding another to the same story XD but stay tuned.

Bitter Season: I'm writing my first Silent Hill fic, called Bitter Season. It was originally just a one-shot that I wrote for my little sister, but I posted it at DA and the reception was really positive, so I'm going to extend it by a few chapters (probably 5 or 6). It's a lot of fun. Chapter 2 is in progress. It'll end up having some James/Maria, I'm sure.

Everything else: still on hiatus ^^; sorry.

NaNoWriMo 2009

Hoooooooooooly crap, I've been writing a TON of Tamaki x Haruhi (Ouran) fanfics lately, but for the most part, my writing muse has been completely consumed by writing my novel for NaNoWriMo. It's about a princess who has to pretend she's actually a prince in order to keep the kingdom from being inherited by the son of the evil grand duchess. So yeah, it's got insanity and crossdressing and wizards. It's pretty much the most fun writing something I've had in a while.

Updates: EVERYTHING besides one-shots and my NaNoWriMo novel is on temporary hiatus! Sorry DX

Gorillaz/TT fic resurrection, etc.

So, I'm mostly posting this to let all of you know that I'm going to be resurrecting and finishing nearly ALL of my old fics, starting with the Gorillaz fic "Celebrity Harvest". I'm sorry for abandoning so many fics, and I promise I'll remedy it!

As far as my novel goes, it's going great! If anyone wants to read an excerpt to see what it's all about, feel free to send a comment.

I'm also starting my first multi-chapter Ouran High School Host Club fanfiction, which is most definitely going to be Tamaki x Haruhi with some Kyouya x Kaoru. I've yet to title it, but I'm thinking maybe something in the way of a song title as the title? It's about Tamaki being prompted to marry Ayakanoji (a betrothal that grandma sets up... it might also end up being Renge or Momoka, depending on how it turns out), and so he has the ultimatum of being disowned or marrying a woman he doesn't love. And... since he loves Haruhi (I'm going off the anime for the fic, but since in the manga, TamaHaru is canon, I'm sticking to my guns on this), he refuses, of course. He has to find somewhere to live, and eventually Haruhi lets him come and stay with her and Ranka XD hilarity and romance ensue, though I'm sure the latter with take ages to show up. So, title suggestions?

Tequila Eyes: Chapter 11 is ALMOST finished. It shouldn't be that long. I've been getting some complaints XD

Boku no Heart: Almost finished with the new chapter. There's just this one scene that's awkward to write ^^;

Yes, it's been forever! I am a terrible person! So now, updates!

Hey Pretty: Still pretty stuck, despite all the help I've gotten. I promise not to give up, though. I'll keep trying until I can update.

Until You Crack: I haven't even thought about this story. I have part of chapter three started though, so I suppose I'll update it soon.

Celebrity Harvest: I've been putting some details into the latest chapter. It should be ready soon.

Other: Loveless fanfic for Britt's birthday is going smoothly, working on my version of the third Gravitation novel, which I won't be posting until later. Plenty of other little one-shot drabbles going on, too. Mostly some Zero stuff for Loveless.

Hello there! ^_^ Moonchild10 here. Sorry it's been so long!

Hey Pretty: I just wanted to say that I've been working on Hey Pretty's 14th chapter, and it should be done in a short while. I won't say when because then if I'm wrong I'll feel bad. I'm sorry for the long wait, and I'll try to make it worth it! Thanks to all of you for being so patient with me.

Until You Crack: The flashback scene is giving me a bit of trouble, as is Murdoc's motivation, but chapter 2 should be done pretty soon. Thanks to Z0nBiLoVeR and Katashdodee for reviewing. I'll be crossposting this story on Gorillazslash, too, so you can find the 'mature' scenes there.

Other: I'm working on a few short slashy pieces as an exercise in writing about gay relationships, because it has to be done eventually. I probably won't post them anywhere besides gslash unless I get a request from someone to send them to them or something. And my novels are getting some attention, too, which accounts for some of my absence from fanfiction.

Hey Pretty returns

I just wanted to let you all know that I'm working on chapter 13 of Hey Pretty, and that I definately haven't given up on it. My writer's block is gone for the time being (thanks to the band Gorillaz, oddly enough), and so an update will be posted soon! I'm about halfway through the chapter as we speak!

Thanks everyone for being so patient and waiting for the next chapter, and I'm SO sorry it took so long!!! I promise that I'll try my hardest to keep the updates more regular from now on, and I love you all and thanks for reading my stories. 168 reviews so far and the story is just getting started... I feel really special.

The story is kind of hard to write because sometimes I'm not exactly sure how to go about making things happen... if anyone has any suggestions, they can email me at moonchild10_fanfics@yahoo.com or send me a PM at my ff.net profile (note: I may not use these suggestions, so I hope I don't offend anyone).

I'm feeling SO much better than I was when I last posted here. I've pretty much emotionally healed (if you'd like to call it that), and though the problem still exists, I feel much better about it.

Ok, as far as upcoming writing goes:

1."Livin' La Vida Titans", a collection of spoofs on Ricky Martin's song, one for each Titan
2. A one-shot Gorillaz fanfic called "Dancing in the Rain", focusing on Murdoc and 2D's relationship (the term 'relationship' is used loosely... here it's code for 'slashy goodness')
3. an angsty Gravitation fanfic entitled "If Tomorrow Never Comes"
4. "Porcelain" (Robin/Red X) is still on my to-do list
5. random TT one-shots, mostly BBxRae
6. A story called "Silver Rain Fell", though I'm not sure what it's about or even who it's about
7. and of course more Hey Pretty!

Yeah, I probably won't be updating Hey Pretty for a while. I just found out about something really unspeakably bad (which sort of indirectly affects my writing), and though I'm not 100% sure that it's true, it's just way too hard to even think about writing in that particular story right now.

It's possible that I'll write in it to make myself feel better, so I might update after all, but who knows? Oh well, only one or two people read this, but it's not my problem if hardly any of my readers know what's going on.

Also, the forum I go to for comfort suddenly doesn't work, and so I'm pretty much f**ked. I'll probably write something Gravitation-related because Shuichi's enough to cheer anyone up. Things may work out, but we'll just have to see.

I've posted Hey Pretty on Adultfanfiction.net. It'll be the unedited version, without having to tone it down to be acceptable for ff.net. Their guidelines strangle me. I want to be free with my writing. But people know me there, I suppose that's as much as I can ask for. So anyway, I won't post the link here because I feel belligerent today. The link to my profile is a couple of entires down. Reach it there.

My trial of Paint Shop Pro X expired, so I'll be writing a bit more now since I can't really do fanart unless I get to use Photoshop on my dad's laptop (which is pretty much never). I hate doing traditional art because unless it's just pencil work, I suck at it. My Photoshop skills are starting to rock, because I'm just gangster like that :P

So yeah, Hey Pretty is on my to do list. I'll be working on it now. It's just harder to find motivation without James. I can't really get myself to write in it very well lately. I'm starting to see so many similiarities to my own life in it....changing, trying to stop fearing change, fear of losing my friends...it's all just starting to happen more than it used to. I usually write about what I know (i.e. I wrote about suicide in WTME), and this time I didn't have as much necessary personal experience, and so fate was like "Hey, let's conspire to make her life more like her writing!" XD Thank God I don't have a hopeless passion for anyone, or that would just be too much.

Well, I've rambled. Thoroughly. There's more I'd like to say, but it has nothing to do with my writing, and so this isn't the place for it. If you really care to read it, it is (for the most part) in my blog at my BBRae site, More Than Human (if you know me, you know the site. If not....sorry. I'm not in a linky mood). It involves a new TT fandom revival project.

School's out next Friday. I'll have more time for writing then. Yay! ^_^

a hiatus of sorts

I doubt anyone reads this anymore. James doesn't really get online much anymore, and he's pretty much the only person I can imagine actually reading this.

For those of you who haven't noticed, I haven't updated Hey Pretty in quite a while. I haven't given up on it, but I'm taking a short break in it to work on some one-shots and fanart, and try my hand in the slash department a bit. So yes, I'll be updating the story soon enough. Just not right now.

I'm writing a one-shot for Loveless, still, and I'm starting a currently untitled Gravitation fanfic and possibly a Corpse Bride one called Butterfly Kisses. And possibly a short story based pn the novel "Dhampir". Other than that, it's all strictly TT-based.

I'm planning a KfxJ fanfic in the future, but my most current project besides Hey Pretty is a quick RobinxRed X fanfic called "Porcelain", which I'll be posting on deviantART soon. Probably not on ff.net, though, because I know that a ton of people would stop reading my stories if I posted a slash there. Look for it on DA, though.

That's all for now. I've been working on a lot of English projects again, so I haven't had much time for writing.

HP, one-shots, and slash

Well, I just posted chapter 12 of Hey Pretty. It's turning into a pretty weird story, I think. A lot of the elements of it are really not what I expected to happen when I started it, but oh well.

Chapter 13 is slightly underway. I don't have much of a start on it, and inspiration has yet to strike, so it could be a while before it gets up.

Until then, I'm working on a one-shot fanfic for my friend Savannah, based on the manga Loveless. I read volume I, and it's pretty interesting. It's of the shota nature, but nothing grusome as far as I saw. And so, I'm working on that.

I'm also doing some notes for a Kid Flash x Jinx AU story and some random pairing one-shots, mostly BBRae but possibly some CyxStar and others.

Also, planning for my superdark upcoming Robin x Slade fic, which I will be posting on my AdultFanfiction.net account (once I start an account there I'll post a link to it here). It would really be helpful if anyone who feels so compelled would read and critique it once I start getting chapters up. It will most definately get pretty graphic, and that is my fair warning in that department. But if you have an open mind, I'd really appreciate some critiques in that area. Thanks in advance to anyone who would be willing to read it!
